Life in Petersfield Business and Community Awards 2014.
Business can be a struggle and many of the local businesses who were at the awards will know that, nine times out of ten, the secret to success is just how well you treat your customers.
It is a cause that is close to our hearts and that is why we sponsored this award.
David Preston, director of ADP Security Systems, says: “My one piece of advice would be, never to take your clients for granted. Always remember, the only reason that you are in business is because of your customers. Deliver a personal service, listen to what they say and be flexible.”
The deserving winner of the Customer Service award, Salon Sixteen, is run by Rosie Packham-Boyns and her team have created a very relaxed, friendly, helpful salon. Many, loyal customers return time and again to enjoy the unpretentious atmosphere. They even offer home-made cakes and fresh coffee, adding to customers’ enjoyment.
The other nominees for the Customer Service award were:
Antrobus Accountants, run by Mike Kirby, which has expanded its product offerings outside of traditional accountancy practices. Antrobus Accountants builds close partnerships with clients, offering a personal, tailored service.
Ashford Farm, run by Simon and Alexandra Bridger and their young family. They are committed to providing customers with fresh, quality meat by giving animals a high standard of husbandry and a happy life. The family slowly rear turkeys and work day and night to fulfil local Christmas orders. Customers come back year after year for their personal and friendly service.
