Site security, reconstruction project
Total site security using manned guarding has been established at a construction site in rural Hampshire. The project is the complete design and rebuild of a significant private residence, set in around 30 acres. Security is paramount for this prestigious, foreign client so a discreet, confidential approach is taken at all times.
Security is provided by a team of trained security officers on a round-the-clock, 24 hour basis, seven days a week. Due to the remote nature of the work, a high-tech personal tracking system is in use that allows ADP’s control room to be in communication with the security officer at all times. The system is also used as a training tool and for quality control.
ADP Security Systems is in charge of site security and access control, signing people in and out of site during working hours. Patrols of the site, with a random route and varied times, are carried out to ensure site integrity. Security officers will also take responsibility for site personnel evacuation due to fire; and health and safety in areas of the site. Security officers for this site have both a Security Industry Authority Licence and a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
