Improved peace of mind for business tenants at Woolmer Trading Estate
Following a detailed risk assessment and security review, ADP Security Systems has installed a number of remote access CCTV cameras to watch Woolmer Trading Estate day and night, with the aim of better securing property and personnel for the tenants. The crime prevention system watching the units and car-parks comprises a number of robust, waterproof static dome cameras. The system gives 24 hour, real-time, remote access to security officers in ADP’s CCTV Control Room and remote monitoring for senior management staff as required. The police also have direct access to this system in the event of any reported incidents.
Home to a diverse range of industrial and warehousing businesses, with a number of vacant plots available, the trading estate had been subject to several break-in attempts during 2009. The Council wanted a way of recording number plates of vehicles using the premises, for evidence in the event of any criminal damage or theft; as well as improving security generally at the estate.
Philip Brine, property manager for East Hampshire District Council said: “ADP was awarded the contract following a tender process. Rather than having a guard on duty watching the traffic, we have opted for a cheaper, better system by using the latest technology.” He added: “ADP is a local business and we trust them to do a good job, as they have worked for us previously.”
